Cali, Bootcamp and HIIT 101 Coach
A former athlete, Billy Dedrick, aka “Cali”, knows what it takes to function and perform at an elite level. With a passion for bringing out the best in others, he turned his passion into a career.
A California native, “Cali” grew up between Los Angeles, CA, Lubbock, TX & Amarillo, TX. Sports and hard work were instilled in him at an early age. As a natural athlete, sports helped him experience first-hand the direct association between discipline, dedication, and personal satisfaction through hard work. Cali realized he wanted to pursue a career in helping others achieve their physical goals and dreams.
After studying and receiving his certification from the International Sports Science Association (ISSA) certification program, Cali has the passion for becoming one of Houston’s most elite personal trainers. With experience in a commercial gym as a one-on-one trainer, he has honed his craft as a boot camp instructor, a bodybuilding and physique competition coach, a HIIT coach, as well as a strength and agility coach.
Vee, 290 Cycling Coach
Veronica Miguel is a native Houstonian and an avid weekend warrior. She earned her spin certification from Cycling Fusion, formally known as Keiser, and is currently working on two new accreditations, Cycling 101 and a Safety Ride Course. Veronica has completed the MS150 four times (and aiming for her fifth!) and is also training for the 72-hour Key West Bick Ride (something she’ll need to let her husband know soon).
Active throughout her entire life, her outlook changed after tragedy struck for Veronica when an intense game of kickball led to a serious knee injury that required surgery. During her injured moments, a friend of Veronica told her “You’ll never be the same.” It was these five words that resonated in her mind and pushed her away from the mediocre towards the exceptional. Her friend was right, Veronica hasn’t been the same since. She went on to run her first 5K, followed by 10K, and up to the CB&I Triathalon where Veronica formed a new and profound relationship with cycling. This passion for cycling led her to be the new instructor for 290 Cycling.
